UADC entrance
UADC is centrally located in downtown Madison, close to the hospitals, and adjacent to the UW-Madison campus. If you work or live near downtown, UADC is a very convenient location to drop off your child. Convenient parking, on bus routes, and bike path access are just a few things that make UADC's location great for you!

UADC is located inside the First Congregational United Church of Christ* at 1609 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53726, between Breese Terrace and Lathrop Streets on old University Avenue. Need a landmark? Camp Randall Stadium is just across Breese Terrace. Click here to see map.

* UADC leases their facilities from the First Congregational Church. The church supports community involvement and ensuring quality day care in our community. UADC has no religious affiliations.

Convenient Parking:
Off-street parking is available in lots adjacent to the building on Lathrop. One is at the rear of the church at the main UADC entrance. Another just the across Lathrop. Parking is also permitted on the East side of Lathrop Street.

Madison Metro:
" Hop on a bus,Gus! "
It's a great deal since kids under 5 always ride free. Imagine playing, reading, and tickling all the way in! UADC is a great location for bus riders, since it is a short walk from stops for routes 2, 3, 14, 19, 58, and 65. If you're up for a 5-10 minute stroll or a quick transfer to the routes above, you can also hop on routes 4, 6, 7, 10, 15, 27, 28, 29, 37, 56, 57, 70, 71 and 72. UADC Buckaroo teacher Robin Crowell rides in a lot. UADC also uses the buses regularly for field trips - it's a simple way to get around town! See lots more info at Metro Transit Site or call 266-4466 for Metro customer service.

Bike Path Access:
Several UADC parents bike their children in on their way to the office. They enjoy the exercise while their children enjoy the ride. The children also have the added benefit of learning more about bicycle safety.
See Madison's Bike Path Map for more information on area bike paths. See the City of Madison Bicycle Information website for more information on biking in Dane County and around Madison.
Also check out the Bicycle Transportation Alliance of Dane Country website. Its a great place to learn about advocacy for bicyclists.
