Typical Day Schedule
7:15- 9:00 AM • Free choice time
This includes access to games, computers, books, puzzles, new lofts, dramatic play areas, science tables, art supplies, etc. morning snack is available during this time.9:00 AM- 12:00 PM • Field trip or class projects*
Just a few of the field trips being planned are: The Space Place, Henry Vilas Zoo, the Arboretum, and the Dairy Barns/Babcock Hall.12:00-12:45 PM • Lunch
A nutritious lunch is prepared daily and served family-style by our wonderful chef, Patty. Bag lunches are provided when field trips are planned to go through lunchtime.12:45-2:00 PM • Games or class projects*
2:00-4:00 PM • Active games or short trips
Scavenger hunts, flying kites, relay races, and kickball are all made easy by being just across the foot bridge from the University Fields.4:00-5:30 PM • Free Choice Time
Back at the Club House! Just like morning free choice, this time includes access to all the same goodies and afternoon snack is served.
Class Projects: Our discovery learning concept includes partnering with UW departments to bring greater age-appropriate exposure to math, science, language, arts, and diverse cultures. Partnerships are being developed with several UW outreach programs to expand our project and experiment offerings in all of these areas for our school-pagers. More details will be available closer to summer.
