What to Expect After Enrolling at UADC

After joining our waitlist, UADC will offer a “seat” to families when spots are available. Once you accept the seat, finished the application and pay the deposit, guardians receive a confirmation of their registration from administrative staff. A copy of the UADC Family Handbook, which contains all sorts of helpful information about UADC center policies and procedures, is attached to the seat offer in LegUp.

UADC strives to provide the best possible transition into our community from your current childcare setting. To that end, we believe it is important to make a connection between you and your classroom teachers from the get-go. The first step in this process is a meet-and-greet video meeting between family members that would like to participate and lead teaching staff, in order to go over classroom routines and your child’s specific goals and needs.

Tuition Assistance

The Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy Program supports families by funding a portion of the cost of child care while the guardians are working or participating in an approved activity.

You can complete an application by Applying Online or by calling or visiting your local Income Maintenance Agency.

Call the City of Madison Child Care Tuition Assistance Program at (608) 267-4996. Program staff will conduct a phone screening to determine your eligibility. Visit the site for more information.

We also suggest the UW Madison Tuition Assistance for Employees and Students. You can visit them here.
